Ink Talk 555

Series of an ink study created while teaching tattoo technique to apprentices at Saint Studios.

Because there is no obvious shape or subject, the lines create a visual frequency for the viewer to stream their own projection of thoughts and emotions.

Each line in the series progressively becomes more free and spontaneous. While tattooing is meant for precision, the freedom in the lines challenge expectation and limiting thoughts. The lines are channeled through breath work allowing a flow state to appear in the link through fluid shapes and value.
